In summer of 2008, Dark Elf Soo was released as an event head for orders (placed between 7/10-7/20) over $395. It was later added as an option in a la carte in September, 2008. DES is technically a separate sculpt than Soo, based on the Delf versions of similar names. It is not simply a Soo with ears added on, though currently it is the only "Elf Soo" available as a MNF.
